Rich purple-black hues; aromas of vanilla, Japanese plum and a hint of anise.
Layers of purple fruit, roasted black cherries, pomegranate and dried
cranberries. Complemented by dark spices and lead-pencil nuances with a hint
of cedar and leather. The palate has abundant rich, ripe succulent fruit which
gives this wine real fl eshiness. A full and focused mid-palate mingles with dusty
tannins resulting in a long and intriguing fi nish. Excellent with braised short
ribs and hearty stews. Enjoy now through 2012. 407 cases produced.
